MENU PRODUCTION manufactures custom menu covers in a variety of fixing mechanism specifications. The choice of fixing method depends entirely on the size of your menu and how you want it to look. Do you want a contemporary menu or do you need something that complements a more traditional setting?

Elasticated Cord & Eyelet
This type of menu cover fixing is ideal for simple four-sided menus. It can be printed on card and literally folded down the center to create a neat booklet. A straw-like elastic string is threaded through the card, which tucks into the back side and holds the menu nicely in place.

This fixing mechanism is not limited to four sides to show, but can show any number of sides in multiples of four, even eight or twelve.

Cord & Eyelet with PVC pockets
Fixing menu covers with traditional cords and eyelets is very simple, especially when combined with PVC pockets. Each pocket displays four sides and can easily display up to 16 sides.

Ideal for menus that change frequently and may be added to significantly over time.

Outer Screw Fix
The outer screw fix mechanism is perfect for ever-changing and growing menus: simply punch paper or cards with a four-hole puncher, line them up between the front and back covers, and open them up like a book; thread four screws through the holes (so the punched menu cards also go through) and twist the back side. This will allow you to pick up the menu cover from the spine and shake it without the menu card falling out.

PVC pockets can be used with this design, but be sure to indicate this at the time of sale so that the spine is slightly wider so that the card is flush with the cover.

If you would like to add more pages than 4pages , please let us know at the time of sale and we can manufacture the spine and screws accordingly.
Use a standard 2-hole puncher for the external threads of the A5 menu cover.
Holespacing can be adjusted to suit the desired measurement.

We can supply 2 hole punch ISO standard ISO 838 and Swedish trio punching.

Inner Screw Fix
The inner-screw fix mechanism, also known as wing and interscrew, is a compact way to hold menus in place; simply punch the paper or card with a 4- or 2 hole puncher and insert it between the two wings on the inside back of the cover. These wings have four holes drilled in them, so all you have to do is align the holes with the menu card. The whole thing is then secured with four screws.

PVC pockets can be used with this design, but be sure to let us know at the time of sale so that our production team can ensure that the front and back covers are made wide.

Corner Mount
Corner mounts are a very discreet way to display menus. Four small corner pockets inside the front and back of the menu cover hold the paper in place. By adding a Elasticated Cord & Eyelet on the inside of the spine, four or six sides can be displayed.

If you would like to add more pages, please let us know at the time of sale and we can manufacture the spine accordingly.

Parallel bars
Parallel bars function in the same way as corner mounts, but are perhaps better suited for modern covers. The paper or card is secured to the front and back of the cover by two parallel bars, top and bottom. Additionally, four or six sides can be retrofitted by adding Elasticated Cord & Eyelet on the spine

If you would like to add more pages, please let us know at the time of sale and we can manufacture the spine accordingly.

American Style PVC Frames / French Bistro pockets /
Extra-strong pockets with nylon or PVC trim are sewn to the inside of the back of the menu cover. Each pocket shows two sides, and you can typically have up to four pockets (eight sides) per cover. If you would like to add more pages, please let us know at the time of sale and we can manufacture the spine accordingly.

The PVC itself can be either opaque or slightly matte. Also, trim can be requested in several different colors, with either matching or contrast stitching.
