PRIVACY POLICY
The personal integrity and security of the processing of your personal data is important to us. We therefore want in this policy to inform you about what personal data we collect, how and for what purpose we process the data and how you can act if you have questions or are not satisfied with our processing of your personal data.
Menu Production, owned by Sibon Production AB, (in this policy referred to as Menu Production or ‘we’) is responsible for the processing of your personal data in cases where it is Menu Production that collects the data, for example if you order products from us or ask for a quote. In cases where we have received the data from another party responsible for personal data (eg when you bought a product from someone who hired Menu Production), that party is primarily responsible for the processing of personal data. Menu Production´s role is then to assist the party responsible for personal data as a personal data assistant.
Processing of personal data
A personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a physically identifiable person (eg name, address, social security number, e-mail address, IP address and other identification data). The collection and processing of personal data we make is necessary for us to be able to perform the services that Menu Production offers. The personal data is processed only for the intended purposes.
For technical reasons, it is required that certain data is collected and stored when you visit our websites. This includes the date, time of stay, which pages were visited, browser identification data and operating system used. This data provides us with information about the number of visitors and how the website is used.
In addition to visits to the website, personal data is collected and processed;
- to process a quote request and communicate with you regarding the requested service or product
- when you communicate with us in other digital channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn or similar.
- when you buy our products or use our online services
- to handle payments
- to carry out surveys in order to improve our service to you as a customer
- for marketing purposes. You can at any time choose to decline continued marketing efforts.
Personal data processed in these cases includes name, telephone number, e-mail address, electronic identification data.
Processing refers to, for example, the collection, reading, use, transfer and deletion of personal data.
Legal basis for treatment
All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with current legislation, primarily the Personal Data Act (PuL), and from 25 May 2018 - EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 1. We process your personal data when we have a legal basis for the treatment, e.g. when it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you or the person from whom you purchased a product, which may also include communicating with you in connection with the performance of our services, when it is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation or when there is otherwise a legal and legitimate interest in the treatment, for example in the marketing of our services.
Security
By taking appropriate technical and organizational measures, Menu Production is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is handled securely and protected from intrusion, access, dissemination, loss or other unauthorized handling.
Menu Production operates in accordance with current and applicable safety standards.
Task minimization
We collect, process and store only the personal data that is necessary to fulfill our obligations.
Personal information is kept up to date
As our service to you depends on your personal information being correct and up to date, we ask you to inform us of relevant changes in your personal information. You can contact Customer Service to let us know about the changes. If we notice incorrect information, we will update the information and inform you of this.
Storage time of personal data
The data is stored for the period agreed or decided in relation to the legislation, and we ensure deletion of the personal data when they are no longer needed for the intended purpose. The period is determined by the purpose and the legal basis for the treatment, therefore there is not a general storage period that applies to all treatments.
Consent
When required by law, Menu Production will obtain consent before processing your personal data. You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
We provide personal information to third parties in cases where we use subcontractors or partners to fulfill the agreement we have with you, and in cases where crime is suspected and we are responsible to the authority to provide them with this information. In order to ensure that the data is processed securely and only for the purpose of carrying out the ordered service and intended purpose, these third parties are bound by the corresponding statutory obligations that apply to Menu Production. This is done by Menu Production signing a so-called assistant agreement with such a current third party.
We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your data with adequate protection.
Your rights
You have the right, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, to receive information about what information we have about you and what we use it for. You also have the right to request an update or have information we have about you corrected in case they are incorrect. In certain cases specified in the legislation, you also have the right to request that Menu Production cease processing or delete the data, provided that there is no legitimate and legal reason that requires us to retain the data. You can also contact us if your information has been processed in violation of the law or other legal obligations. At the bottom of this text you will find information on how to contact us for such a request.
In cases where Menu Production has received your personal data from another party responsible for personal data, you should in the first instance turn to the party responsible for personal data (eg the person you bought or ordered a product from).
You also have the opportunity to submit a complaint directly to the responsible supervisory authority - the Swedish Data Inspectorate.
When you request information about your information, to have it corrected or deleted, we will promptly process your request and implement the request insofar as it is feasible in accordance with other legislation and other regulations.
